MedAdvisor is a leading Australian health-tech company helping patients manage medications, prescriptions, refills and adherence. Their mobile app is a primary channel for patient engagement and ongoing adherence support.

MedAdvisor engaged App Media to lift App Store visibility for medication-related queries and improve install-to-active-user conversion.

The challenge

  • Health and medication categories on the App Store are competitive and tightly regulated — copy and imagery have to work for both Apple/Google guidelines and TGA expectations.
  • A large addressable patient population, but App Store discoverability was holding the app back from reaching it.
  • Installs that landed often took several days to convert to first-medication-logged — which depressed lifecycle metrics.

  • Onboarding-flow recommendations passed through to MedAdvisor's product team to speed first-action conversion post-install.

Lifecycle integration:

  • Coordination with MedAdvisor's CRM team to align in-app activation with App Store messaging.

Results

  • #1 ranking on "medication" and related Australian App Store searches.
  • App Store install conversion up 44% off the new creative and copy.
